Trees for Livelihood

Trees for Livelihood aims to generally improve the quality of life, create jobs, infrastructure and improve medical support for farmers and their families in underdeveloped and developing countries.

Inspired by the personal beliefs of its founders and major shareholders, Anagenesis Trees Corporation (ATC) is embarking on a course of philanthropy by initiating its first corporate responsibility program in close cooperation with certain charitable organisations via the 'Trees For Livelihood Program'.

"While Green Economical initiatives are necessary to avert catastrophic damage to the atmosphere, ATC also recognizes that millions of people are subject to abject poverty and other hardships that naturally demote their environmental awareness. For this reason, the company is committed to allocating a portion of its potential planning and resources to supporting the Earth’s underprivileged populations. The Trees for Livelihood Program was conceived for this purpose."

The program intends to bring positive systemic change to the social, economical, medical and educational (skills development) circumstances of a group of contracted employees, their immediate families and the circle of people close to them via focused local intervention.

With the availability of adequate sources of capital almost certainly forming the main constraint of social entrepreneurs trying to initiate or scale up projects, the “Trees for Livelihood Program” is characterized by the short-, medium- and long-term financial earning capacity of the underlying commercial Anagenesis project. In that respect, strategic cooperation with multilateral agencies and (local) governments to enhance the program’s effectiveness is unlikely to be burdened by a heavy budgetary dependency.
